Our mission is to keep your family on the farm by using science and technology to provide economically and environmentally sound information, enabling you to better manage your resources and produce profit.
Our vision is to be the fastest, most reliable, and most accurate information source. And since our beginning in 1986 in Shipman, IL, we’ve partnered with farmers all across North America to help them manage resources and produce profits year after year.
We’re blessed to have continually grown over the years and currently support more than 80,000 acres and 100+ farmers with virtually all crops—from corn, soybeans, and wheat to vegetables and fruit.

Allison Jonjak, Geospatial Information Systems Technician
Allison’s passion for precision agriculture took root on her family’s cranberry farm, founded by her grandfather in 1939 and farmed by her father to this day. Following a youth of hand-weeding, irrigation management, product testing, and record-keeping, Allison went to the University of Minnesota to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Systems and Agricultural Engineering.
After earning her BS, she was awarded a research assistantship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she earned her MS in Biological Systems Engineering by focusing on Precision Agriculture. Her Master’s thesis furthered the development of prescriptions for variable rate liming applications. Allison has maintained her focus on geospatial statistics and computer systems throughout her work teaching at UNL and as a key resource for GIS data at FamilyFarms Group.
She has furthered her skills participating in AgGateway’s Field Operations Working Group, and by presenting at conferences of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineers and the International Society of Precision Agriculture. She participates in her family’s cranberry harvests whenever possible, and is always keeping pace with how technology can improve the implementation of agriculture, and the everyday lives of farmers.
Betsy Kirbach, Geospatial Information Systems Technician
Betsy comes to us with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Technical Systems Management and minors in Crop and Soil Management and Agriculture Safety. She also received her Associate’s degree in Science with emphasis on agriculture from Lincoln Land Community College. She previously worked for Monsanto in between school breaks working with researchers to collect multiple forms of data from the field and at Carrollton Bank where she assisted customers with their basic banking needs and troubleshooting online banking issues.
Formerly in her free time, Betsy raised and showed cattle and was very involved in 4H and the National FFA Organization. She received numerous awards from all areas, but her most notable achievement was receiving her American FFA Degree in 2014 at the National Convention held in Louisville, KY. Currently in her free time, she enjoys boating, hunting, shooting, riding four-wheelers, and taking trips to the Lake of the Ozarks with her family.
